Bomb Threat Closes West Point School

Calaveras County Sheriff´s deputies are investigating a bomb threat that forced closure of West Point
Elementary School today. Vice Principal Sharon Nick says a student reported a threat was written on a bathroom wall of the school. Deputies and fire
department crews were called in for a search and found nothing. School was evacuated and students didn´t return for the remainder of the day.
School
will reopen tomorrow. No one was hurt. No suspects are in custody yet.
