Calaveras Sheriff’s Deputies Arrest Man For Rape

Calaveras County Sheriff´s deputies have an Arnold man in custody for sexual assault. Deputies arrested
26 year old Antonio Contreras after the victim called 9-1-1. Deputies arrived and reported that Contreras and the woman had been drinking alcohol over the
weekend and he assaulted her and raped her.
Contreras is being held in county jail in lieu of 150 thousand dollars bail.
