Twain Harte Inn Burning

The historic Twain Harte Inn is burning tonight. Details at this time are sketchy, but one wing of the motel in downtown Twain Harte has been destroyed by flames.
Dozens of Tuolumne County firefighters are on the scene battling the blaze. Deb Fish with the Tuolumne County Fire/CDF says firefighters are trying to get the fire extinguished in the two-story building. She says the fire at this time is not a threat to other wings of the motel or to other buildings in town.
An ambulance has been dispatched to treat an injured firefighter with embers in his eyes.
The downtown area of Twain Harte is blocked off to traffic to allow fire crews movement around the blaze.
