San Francisco´s cable cars are back at full strength.
The Powell Street line so popular with tourists has been down for maintenance since late October. It reopened today with a new turntable at Market Street. Work crews chose this time of year because it´s between the summer and holiday tourist rushes … but also not in the heart of the rainy season.
