A fund-raising campaign by Sonora Community Hospital supporters has proved to be an over-whelming success.
More than two point two million dollars has been raised for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Cancer Center to be housed at the new hospital campus under construction on Greenely Road in Sonora.
According to the hospital´s director of development Gail Witzlsteiner, much of the money came from donations within the hospital staff, governing board, hospital auxiliary and hospital physicians.
