Toxic mold will be the subject of a state Senate Insurance Committee hearing today. The committee will hear testimony on a bill that would require insurers to honor claims for toxic mold unless a policy clearly excludes such coverage. Health effects from toxic mold can range from itchy eyes and fatigue to major respiratory problems and liver damage.
