Child Seat Check Point Planned

The San Andreas Highway Patrol will conduct a child safety seat check point tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the New Jackson Ford car dealership on Highway 49 in Martell.
According to Jan Nichols with CHP, the checkpoint is not to enforce use but to help assist parents and grandparents in proper installation and use of child safety seats and booster seat.
Another child seat checkpoint will be held next Saturday, June 15 in Arnold.
