Road Rage Leads To Weapons Charges

A Sheep Ranch man is out on bail after being jailed on assault with a deadly weapon charge.
Calaveras County Sheriff´s investigators say 54-year-old Daniel Rau pointed what appeared to be a hunting rifle at Pioneer resident Narcisco Sanchez after Rau claimed the man ran him off the road in the Mokelumne Hill area.
The weapon turned out to be a BB gun shaped like a deer rifle. Rau was taken into custody without incident.
