Sonora Police are investigating the report of forged checks at a downtown bank. They are also looking into the report of garden ornaments taken from a yard on East Lyons.
Tuolumne County Deputies are checking out a report that a Sawmill Flat Road resident was shot at by a passing small red sports car just after noon yesterday.
Deputies are also investigating the theft of rings from a house in Sonora and an apparent break-in to a home on the 18000 block of Black Oak Road.
