Fatal Accident Victim Identified

A Twain Harte man who died in a rollover accident Sunday morning on Middlecamp Road in Twain Harte has been identified as 24 year-old Joseph Palmer.
The CHP says Palmer was not wearing a seat belt and was partially ejected from his Jeep when it landed on top of him after he lost control rounding a curve. Officers say excessive speed may have played a role in the crash which is still under investigation. He died at the scene
He was Tuolumne County´s only fatality during the Thanksgiving holiday. There were a total of 16 accidents and 6 DUI arrests in the county over the long holiday weekend.
