Vandals hit Arnold

Vandals tried to set a pick-up truck on fire early yesterday morning. Calaveras County Sheriff deputies say the truck, owned by the Mill Site Homeowners Association in Arnold was vandalized and a rag was used to try and catch the truck´s fuel tank on fire. Luckily the gas tank didn´t explode. Other residents in the area of Splash Dam Way reported slashed tires and other vandalism to cars parked in the area.
Investigators say the incident happened around 2 a.m. Sunday morning. They´re asking for anyone with information regarding the incident to call the Sheriff Department.
