Man Sets Sister On Fire In Fatal Blaze

Tuolumne County Sheriff investigators say a man is in custody after he poured flammable liquid on his sister and set her on fire inside her home in Confidence Thursday morning.
Sheriff€™s Lieutenant John Steely says the blaze killed 46 year-old Nadine Richards and destroyed the two-story wooden house on the 22500 block of Confidence Road.
Steely says an eyewitness to the crime identified the victim.
The woman€™s brother, 49 year-old Steven Richards, was taken into custody by deputies outside the burning home, even as firefighters battled to contain the blaze.
He has been booked for suspicion of arson and murder and is being held at Tuolumne County Jail on $750,000 dollars bail.
