Rehab Center Closed In Sutter Creek

Sutter Creek´s lone residential drug rehabilitation center has been shut down by the city´s officials, citing health and safety concerns.
Officials say the New Foundation recovery program has had several incidents that required police intervention and the center has failed to meet several conditions outlined in a use permit the city awarded last year. A hearing by the Sutter Creek Planning Commission is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. tonight.
