Sponsored by:

Park Rangers are investigating a weekend accident in Yosemite National Park that left a climber dead. Authorities say 25-year-old Christopher Hampson of Breckenridge, Colorado was about 950 feet above the valley floor when he apparently fell.

Rangers say Hampson fell about 150 feet and was caught by his safety rope, but he was badly injured. He reportedly dangled there for about two hours. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
