Judge Issues Gag Order in Peterson Case

The judge overseeing the Scott Peterson murder trial has issued a gag order for anyone conncected with the case. That means that if anyone connected speaks out about the case or shares information, that person will face contempt of court charges.
Judge Al Girolami says the amount of publicity this case has received is “massive” and he adds that picking a fair and impartial jury is going to be hard enough, even with this order.
Attorneys, investigators, police officers, and even potential witnesses are now barred by the court from commenting on the case.
