Schicke Benefit Luau Raises Thousands

That benefit luau at Lake Tulloch Resort over the weekend generated over five thousand dollars, say organizers.
That money will go to the memorial fund for fallen CDF firefighter Eva Schicke.
Saturday´s event included a Hawaiian dance troupe performance, a pig roast and buffet and the CDF and local firefighters performing an impromptu hula dance.
A raffle and silent auction helped generate the money.
