Last Suspect To Be Sentenced in La Contenta Robbery

Sentence has still not been passed down for one of three men who confessed to robbing a convenience store in La Contenta nearly a year ago.

A plea agreement is being worked out for a third suspect in the case.

20-year-old Kyle Nelson has pleaded guilty to robbing the La Contenta Village Mart on January 2nd of this year.

He´s already agreed to a 7-year-sentence in exchange for a guilty plea.

20-year-old Jerry Warden the third will serve four years, after he pleaded guilty to driving the getaway car.

The two men were back in court last week in the case, when the Deputy DA asked to postpone sentencing until a plea bargain can be made with the third suspect, 20-year-old Jesse Norried.

Sentencing is now slated for the morning of December 17th.
