Icy Roads Spell Trouble For Drivers

Lots of troubles for Mother Lode drivers this morning….
Calaveras County emergency crews responded to a minor injury traffic accident this morning around 7:30 a.m. on Highway 4 at Monge Ranch in the Douglas Flat area. A car went off the road there. No word on injuries.
Emergency units headed to a traffic accident on Highway 108 near the eastern entrance to Twain Harte just before 9 this morning.
And in the Forest Meadows area on Highway 4 in Calaveras County a roll-over traffic accident there. Luckily, the motorist was not injured in the crash.
Officials say black ice on the highway was responsible for problems this morning.
