Lungren Finally Defeats Oller for District 3 GOP Nomination

It took more than a week… but former California Atorney General Dan Lungren was finally declared the victor in the race for the Republican nomination for the 3rd Congressional District.
It was a race so tight… between Lungren and state Senator Rico Oller from San Andreas… that it took the final count of absentee ballots before the outcome was known.
The California Secretary of State says Lungren got 28,513 votes, in comparison to Oller´s 27,063 votes.
As a result, Lungren is up against Gabe Castillo, the Democrat on the ballot for District 3, in November.
