Car Plunges, One Person Killed

One person was killed, another injured after their car ran off the road and plunged down an embankment around 10:30 p.m. last night..
The crash was near the bridge on Jacksonville Road and Park south of the community of Stent.
Fire officials say one of the victims was able to crawl up the embankment after the crash and signal for help. Jamestown and Groveland Fire crews were called to the scene. A rope rescue team was needed to get the fatally injured victim back up to the road.
No names were available this morning. Cause under investigation.
