Fire At Sonora Restaurant

A fire at the Peppery Gar and Brill Restaurant on Mono Way in Sonora overnight.
Fire officials say an overheated deep fryer is the cause. Tuolumne County Fire spokesperson says the grease fire started just after midnight this morning and was held by firefighters to just the kitchen and stove area, causing $10,000 dollars smoke and water damage to the restaurant. The restaurant will be closed today for clean up.
