Fresh Way To Start Your Saturday

Produce, pastries, or pansies.

The Sonora Certified Farmers Market is now in full swing. The outdoor market sets up Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon in the parking lot in downtown Sonora at the corner of Theall and Stewart streets.

Fresh fruits and vegetables fill booth upon booth. What ever is fresh and in season can be found. Other vendors offer local honey, flowers and plants, fresh baked breads and pastries, as well as specialty products like olive oils, cheese, jams and jellies and coffee.

Many mornings, folks can find local artists displaying their wares or musicians playing for the shopping crowd. It´s also a great place to meet friends or sit sipping coffee and chat.

The public is welcome. The farmers market will run each Saturday through Oct. 23rd.
