Grass Fire Contained

Firefighters and aircraft have responded to a grass fire on the 12,900 block of Jacksonville Road near Twist Road south east of the community of Stent.
CDF spotter aircraft above the fire says the blaze, first reported just before 11 a.m. is about 1/2 acre in size and burning slowly in dry grass. No homes are threaten at this time.
Fire crews at the scene say they have contained the fire. Additional fire units and aircraft responding to the fire have been canceled and are returning to their bases.
