Studies Underway For New Development

Copperopolis, CA — Environmental studies have been approved for a 250-home subdivision in Copperopolis.
The Calaveras County Board of Supervisors agreed Monday to pay a consultant $150,000 for the work.
The homes in Sanguinetti Estates would be built on 60 acres at O´Byrnes Ferry Road between Sanguinetti Drive and Connor Estates Drive.
The studies will look at archeological and traffic impacts and loss of oak woodlands.
As with any Environmental Impact Report, there will be a public review period once the studies are complete.
