Soulsbyville Pedestrian Suffers Major Injuries In Collision

Soulsbyville, CA — A Soulsbyville man is recovering from major injuries he sustained after being hit by a car yesterday evening.
CHP says 31 year old Frank Cook was walking in the roadway on Soulsbyville Road just after 5:00pm when the vehicle driven by 41 year old Kevin Lee Wood of Sonora struck him.
Reports indicate that Wood was taking the Transition Road from Highway 108 to Soulsbyville Road when the front of his car came into contact with the pedestrian.
Cook was then transported by ambulance to Sonora Regional Medical Center and then flown to memorial Medical Center in Modesto. CHP officials say the accident is still under investigation.
