Applications For Youth Leadership Tuolumne County Available

Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Chamber of Commerce is making applications available for the 2006 Youth Leadership Tuolumne County.
The program is designed to introduce high school students to community issues and civic leaders in addition to providing opportunities for community and school involvement, and the development of leadership skills.
The program has graduated 83 students countywide. The chamber says students who are enrolled in high school in the county and have demonstrated leadership potential are eligible to apply.
Students selected for this years class will be given a full-cost $750 scholarship provided by Leadership Tuolumne County alumni and local businesses.
The application deadline is September 13th.
