City Council Postpones Decision On Lowe’s

Sonora, CA — The Sonora City Council has postponed its decision regarding the Lowe´s Home Improvement Center site review application.
At last night´s meeting the City Council heard comments from the community for 4 hours regarding the project and representatives from Lowe´s said they feel it is the right project for the right site and at the right time.
However opponents of the project cited traffic problems, pollution, and the economic impact on local businesses. The City Council will make a decision on Thursday July 28th at 9:00am.
