Triple Fatal Wreck on Highway 120

A triple fatal wreck has occurred between Montezuma Junction and Yosemite Junction, on Highway 120 just east of Obyrnes Ferry Road.
Traffic is fully blocked as the CHP is planning to land the Air Med helicopter in the middle of the highway.
Motorists will be detoured to Highway 49 to Chinese Camp, then to Highway 120 to Highway 108.
Initial reports came in just after 9:30am. Multiple ejections and blocked lanes were immediately reported.
Confirmation of the three fatalities came a short time later from Officer Tom Wills of the California Highway Patrol.
Use extreme caution driving on the highways, especially in the area of the wreck, as traffic will likely be snarled for much of the morning.
