Murphys Prepares For Irish Days

Organizers of the upcoming Murphys Irish Days Parade say they have received parade entries from just about all of the people they can handle.
About 45 entry forms have been submitted, so far. Parade coordinator Bob Regan says the immensely popular event still needs volunteers, though, to help with a variety of fun tasks.
“We need help with road closures, the silent auction.”
Thousands of locals and people from outside of Calaveras county jammed into Murphys last year to enjoy Irish Days. In addition to the parade, vendors, live music, food and beverage booths and much more will fill the streets on March 19th.
