Calaveras Parolee Arrested on Numerous Charges

Calaveras Sherriff Deputies were sent out to an address, Thursday, along Hwy 26 in Valley Springs to serve a Parole Hold arrest warrant on Ricky Poland, 46 of Valley Springs.
Upon the Deputies arrival, Poland was seen running through the house to a back door. Deputies chased Poland to a neighbor´s home next door where Poland attempted to elude Deputies by hiding under a propane tank. It didn´t work. Poland was taken into custody for the felony parole warrant, resisting arrest and possession of a methamphetamine smoking device. Poland is currently being held at the Calaveras County Sheriff´s Dept.
