Columbia College Honors Staff At Celebration

Columbia, CA — Teachers and staff members were honored at the Columbia College End of Year Celebration.
Teacher Of The Year was awarded to Ross Carkeet, who has taught forestry, natural resources and biology for 37 years at Columbia College.
The celebration luncheon was held last week at the Manzanita patio area.
Jean Mallory was named Faculty Of The Year for the service of counselor and articulation officer.
The President´s Award for Dedicated Service was presented to Sherry Bahten, the Manzanita Bookstore manager who has been employed at the college for over 25 years.
There were several other awards given to thank staff members for their work and contributions to the school over the year.
