Water Conservation Needed In Columbia-Gibbs Area

Sonora, CA — The Columbia and Matelot Ditch that provides the water supply for the Columbia and Gibbs area will be shut down today through Wednesday for maintenance.
According to Administrative Services Manager Sheri Barnett, T.U.D. customers in the Columbia and Gibbs area are encouraged to limit household water usage.
As of Monday morning, tank levels were in good shape thanks to a generous supply of Mother Nature´s “liquid sunshine” recently.
Normal water service is scheduled to resume on Wednesday.
