Anderson Not Wearing Seat Belt

Sonora, CA — According to a C.H.P. news release, it has been confirmed that Tami Lyn Anderson was not wearing a seat belt when she was killed in a Friday morning single vehicle accident on Peaceful Oak Rd. just north of the Hwy 108 bypass.

The rollover accident occured moments after nine o´clock. According to the C.H.P. report, witnesses told officers that the 48 year old registered nurse allowed the right side wheels of her vehicle to travel off the west side of the pavement as she was headed in a southbound direction.

The right rear of Anderson´s 2001 grey Chevy Tahoe struck a roadway information sign. She overcorrected to the left causing her vehicle to overturn several times ejecting her in the process.

Anderson was pronounced dead at the scene.
