Prep Football; Summerville Wins While Sonora Loses

Sonora, CA — Prep football for a Thursday evening; Sonora´s three game win streak was doused by Oakdale Thursday evening. On the road the Wildcats dropped a 35-21 decision to the Mustangs.
The playoff bound Wildcats wrap up the regular season with a 6-4 record while the Mustangs, who are also headed for the playoffs, finish at 8-2.
In the opening round of the playoffs, the Wildcats will meet either Rio Linda or Foothill of the Capital Valley Conference on the road next Friday.
Summerville also played on the road and the Bears closed out their season with a 28-14 win over Linden. Summerville´s final record: 4-6.
This evening 5-4 Bret Harte will host 8-1 Calaveras.
