Election Countdown: Angels Camp City Council

Angels Camp, CA — Angels Camp is a historic mining town still writing its own destiny. Tuesday voters will select two candidates to help lead the city into the future.

Two four-year terms are open on the city council.

Jack Boeding and Jack Lynch are going up against incumbents Curley Middleton and Paul Raggio.

Boeding says he loves his town and is concerned about its problems. He says he cares a lot and he can help.

Lynch is retired and says he´s a good listener. If elected he says he could give a voice to the citizens of Angels Camp.

20-year council veteran, Middleton says his experience is why he should be voted back into office. If re-elected, he would try to keep water and sewer rates down, finish the general plan and complete the Highway 4 Bypass.

Raggio, who has been on the council for 24 years, says he would look for a way to relieve ratepayers of the high water and sewer fees. He would also help configure a solution for the intersection of Highway 4 and 49 as it meets the new bypass.
