Stanislaus National Forest Fire Near Coulterville

San Andreas, CA — The C.D.F. Emergency Command Center reports a quick spreading 35 acre vegetation fire in the area of Smith Station Rd. and Red Cloud Mine Rd. in the Stanislaus National Forest above Coulterville.
C.D.F., according to Fire Captain Alan Colombro, has responded with seven engines and two crews along with air attack and two air tankers from Columbia Air Base.
In addition, C.D.F. Mariposa has called in six air tankers, two heli-tankers and four helicopters.
No other details are available at this time.
