Twain Harte Vegetation Fire Contained Quickly

Sonora, CA — Twain Harte residents are taking a collective sign of relief today, following a vegetation fire on Blue Bird Hill Road Thursday afternoon.
CDF and Tuolumne County Fire Department officials say the half acre vegetation fire started around 2:30pm; however due to the fast action by firefighters, the blaze was contained by 3:00pm.
Reports indicate all Columbia aircraft was dispatched to the scene, including several engines and hand crews. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
