Dessert Contest Helps Mentoring Program

Sonora, CA– Several Restaurants in the Mother Lode will be participating in a dessert contest as a fundraiser for the Mentoring Works program.
Mentoring Works matches dedicated adults in the community with at risk children through the Amador- Tuolumne County Action Agency. The Event will take place on April 30th. From 2-4 p.m. at the Aronos Club. Admission is $20 dollars per person.
The desserts will be tasted and judged by various community members including Supervisor Liz Bass, and local realtor and volunteer mentor Mike Jones. A silent Auction will also take place with items from local businesses as well as a basketball signed by Sacramento Kings point guard Mike Bibby. Call A-TCAA for more information.
