Californians Ready For Female President But Undecided About Clinton

Sacramento, CA — A new poll says that a majority of Californians are ready for a female president, although New York Senator Hillary Clinton may not be the one they would vote for.
A survey from the Field Poll released this morning shows that 69 percent of registered voters in the state believe the country is ready for a female president, while 24 percent believe it´s not.
When asked about whether they would be inclined to vote for Clinton in 2008, Californians were more evenly split.
The poll found that 47 percent said they would and 42 percent said they would not vote for Clinton.
