Hit And Run Suspect Stopped By CHP Following Accident

San Andreas, CA–A Valley Springs man fled the scene of an accident only to be pulled over by a CHP officer a short time later.
The California Highway Patrol says 33-year-old Lisa Brauer was driving westbound on Sunset Street in San Andreas attempting to turn right into her residence when 20-year-old Josh Sabanovich tried to go around her thinking she was turning left.
The two cars collided and Sabanovich fled the scene. A CHP unit in Valley Springs stopped the man when the officer noticed a considerable amount of damage on the vehicle. No arrests were made; however the accident is still under investigation.
