Pelosi Seeking Investigation Of Two State Representatives

Sacramento, CA — House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi of San Francisco is asking for investigations to take place regarding Representative Richard Pombo of Tracy and Representative John Doolittle of Rocklin.
Pelosi claims the two Northern California Republicans are tied to lobbyist Jack Abramoff. The Washington lobbyist has pleaded guilty to corruption charges.
Reports indicate that Doolittle´s wife got a job at a firm associated with Abramoff. Pombo is said to be linked to the lobbyist by pushing for federal recognition for an Indian tribe that was a client of Abramoff´s.
