Hwy 4 Closed Until Approximately Noon Due To Accident

Copperopolis, Ca — Hwy 4 near Bonanza Mine Rd. is completely shut down due to a collision between a gravel truck and a delivery truck.
CHP Officer Mike Maddox says the portion of the road will be closed down until approximately noon, as there is debris and fuel along Hwy 4. Travelers will need to find an alternate route.
Maddox says it appears the accident has resulted in a fatality. No further information is immediately available.
