Homeless Dogs In Calaveras Get Some Air Time

San Andreas, CA — Animals up for adoption in Calaveras County are now getting some face time on local television.
Under the guidance of Julie Thornburg of Valley Springs, the Calaveras Humane Society has teamed up with Comcast Digital Cable to broadcast a video of local dogs and cats that are up for adoption.
Humane Society organizer Amy Monsen says Comcast has a similar program with Delta Humane that is very successful.
New shows will be taped and aired every six weeks.
To view the animals, tune in to Channel 1, scroll down and click on the Get Local menu, then Pet Adoption menu, and select Calaveras Humane Society.
