Five Arrested For Lewd Sexual Acts At Pioneer Park

Sonora, CA — Five Mother Lode male residents have been arrested by the Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Department for lewd sexual conduct in a public park.

At 2:30pm on Monday, November 5 undercover detectives discovered two individuals orally copulating in a Columbia area Pioneer Park bathroom. The bathroom has no door on the stall and they were visible to anyone who walked into the facility. These acts were also taking place on the walking trails.

According to Sheriff Jim Mele detectives discovered there is an internet website that states that Pioneer Park is a known locale for this type of activity; adult males soliciting each other for sexual activity.

Arrested between November 5th and the 14th for lewd conduct in public, disorderly conduct in or about a public restroom and indecent exposure were 40 year Peter Michael Delaney of Sonora, 62 year old Larry Buchanan Tillery of Coulterville, 70 year old Robert Bruce Huckins of Sonora, 71 year old George Lemar Roessler of Valley Springs and 72 year old Robert Lowell Jobe of Coulterville.

All five have been issued court dates.
