Valley Springs Fire Covers 104 acres

San Andreas, CA — According to Cal Fire Emergency Command Communications Operator Peggy Sue Wagner, the Saturday afternoon San Joaquin County fire that covered 104 acres was located at Hwy 26 and Shelly Rd.
Resources utilized included all aircraft from the Columbia Air Base, six engines, two dozers and two hand crews.
Cause of the fire remains unknown at this time.
The first report was recorded at 12:37pm. The fire was wrapped at 8:50pm.
