Motherlode Residents Battle The Heat To Attend Car Show

Tuolumne, Ca– Many Motherlode residents are not letting the heat ruin their Labor Day weekend especially when it comes to attending the Annual Wing Ding Car Show in downtown Tuolumne.
The event kicked off at 10am this morning and will close at 5pm tonight. Bands playing in the center stage area include Sagebrush, Godz of Rock, Special Delivery, and Crazy Ivan.
Along with the nearly 200 cars featured at the show, there is a kid´s zone with a bounce house as well as an art exhibit located inside Memorial Hall. Several food vendors as well as 30 arts and crafts vendors are participating as well.
Chamber President and CEO George Segarini says that between the hotdogs, hamburgers, and smoothies, “what more could you ask for?”
