Calaveras County Government Center Back In Full Swing

Calaveras, Ca– All is right again with the 911 system for Calaveras County.
Sheriff´s Department Sgt. Dave Seawell says both power as well as phone service has been restored. During the problem they were dispatching from a different location.
He adds that he was pleased that they had practiced a drill for this kind of problem and that the incident went on “without a hitch.”
The power failure hit the Calaveras Government Center early this morning causing the department to not be able to accept non-emergency calls.
