Board Re-Examines General Plan RFP Process

San Andreas, CA — The Calaveras County Board of Supervisors is eyeing a possible do-over for a recent request for proposals on its General Plan Update.
The undeclared winner of the bid process was Mintier and Associates, which has been the sole consultant on the update since work began.
Supervisor Tom Tryon says Mintier came in $40 under budget but was not the only bidder. He says two other firms filed for an extension of time but were denied by the Community Development Agency.
The board will talk to the agency director and hold a closed session next week to make its decision.
