Vegetation Fire Near Sonora Elementary

Sonora, CA — CAL FIRE officials at the San Andreas Emergency Command Center and crews on scene are reporting a one acre vegetation fire in the vicinity of Sonora Elementary School on Greenley Rd.
Engines have been dispatched to the scene of that fire. Police have opened a gate for access. The fire appears to be burning away from the nearby structures.
No other details are available at this time.
