Jamestown Resident Jailed On Numerous Charges

Sonora, CA — 22 year old Katelyn Schaffernoth of Jamestown was booked into the County Jail Saturday afternoon after being arrested by Sonora Police for driving with an expired license and registration.
Police had responded to a parking complaint on Golden St. As the officer arrived he noticed the vehicle in question departing the scene. In following Schaffernoth´s vehicle he noticed an expired registration.
She was also booked on charges of being in possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia and possession of a dangerous weapon; a side handled police type baton.
